As a thank you, any donation of $5 or more will receive our iconic Stop Shark Finning sticker—a bold symbol of advocacy and action.
Originally designed by artist and conservation advocate Jessica Adanich, Founder and Executive Director of Sharkapalooza, this logo was created in 2008 to spark conversation and raise global awareness about one of the most devastating threats to sharks today: shark finning. This design marked the beginning of Jessica’s conservation-focused artwork and continues to serve as a reminder that even a single graphic can inspire awareness, conversation, and meaningful change.
Shark finning is the practice of cutting off a shark’s fins and discarding the animal back into the ocean, often while it is still alive. The fins are kept for soup and other uses, while the shark—unable to swim—dies. This practice kills millions of sharks every year and continues to devastate shark populations worldwide.
This sticker was intentionally designed with a clear, powerful message—because awareness leads to action, and action leads to change.
By donating, you’re not just receiving a sticker—you’re helping support:
-
Shark and ocean conservation initiatives
-
Educational outreach and public awareness
-
Art-driven programs that inspire connection instead of fear
Donate today. Share the message. Help stop shark finning.
