This is a juried art show.

Sharkapalooza is a curated, ocean-focused festival — and our artist selection reflects that. We are looking for talented artists, makers, and creators whose work is rooted in ocean and shark themes. This is not a general art market. Every piece displayed or sold at your booth must be ocean- or shark-related. If your body of work is broader, we do welcome some wildlife or conservation themed art work not representing more than 50% of your work.

Please read all requirements carefully before applying.

Requirements

All artwork displayed or sold must meet the following standards:

Ocean conservation, animal conservation, and/or environmental-themed must represent the major body of your work
No nudity of any kind — Sharkapalooza is a family-friendly event
No violent imagery
Work must be original. Artists may sell prints, apparel, and reproductions of their own work, but you may not resell another artist's work or mass-produced items you did not create. All work displayed or sold must originate from your own original designs and artwork.
A completed Waiver of Liability is required for all participants. Please review and complete the waiver before or at the time of your application.

Applications that do not meet these standards will not be considered, regardless of artistic merit.

Event Hours: Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm & Sunday: 9 am - 3 pm

Event Schedule

Friday: Artist load-in and setup
Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 9 am - 3 pm

Overnight security will be on-site Friday and Saturday nights. While we take reasonable precautions to maintain a secure environment, Sharkapalooza Inc. is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged artwork, equipment, or personal belongings left on-site overnight or during the event. Artists participate at their own risk and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions with high-value items.

Booth Fee

$250 — 10x10 booth space

The booth fee is due upon acceptance. An invoice will be sent from the Sharkapalooza Stripe account. Spaces are limited and awarded through the juried review process. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.

Equipment

Artists are responsible for supplying their own tent, tables, and chairs for their 10x10 space. The event is outdoors.

When you reach out, let them know you're a Sharkapalooza 2027 vendor and have your business name, billing address, phone number, and email ready. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your order, with final payment due no later than March 5, 2027.

Raffle Donation — Required

Each accepted artist is required to donate one piece of artwork valued at $50 or more (retail value) for the Sharkapalooza event raffle. Proceeds are split 50/50 — half supports marine nonprofits, and half helps cover event production costs.

Green Policy

Sharkapalooza is committed to reducing our environmental footprint — and we ask our artists to share that commitment. As a participant, please keep the following in mind:

Pack it in, pack it out. You are responsible for removing all trash, packaging, and materials from your booth space at the end of each day.
Minimize single-use plastics. Avoid plastic bags where possible. We encourage reusable or recycled packaging for purchases.
Sustainable materials encouraged. If you distribute handouts, brochures, or promotional items, we encourage the use of recycled or minimal materials where possible. We understand this isn't always feasible, and that's okay.
Leave your space as you found it. Booth areas should be left clean and clear at the end of each show day and at load-out.

To reduce waste, single-use plastic bottles are not permitted on site. We encourage everyone to bring and refill reusable water bottles throughout the day. Together, we can make a difference for our planet and the sharks that depend on it.

I understand that Sharkapalooza has a no refund policy, including for cancellations due to weather or personal conflicts. If the event is rescheduled due to inclement weather, my payment will automatically roll over to the next Sharkapalooza. If I’m unable to attend that rescheduled date, my payment will be forfeited. No further rollovers or transfers will be allowed. A rescheduled event is not guaranteed and will be determined by event organizers if needed.
