Our Conservation Commitment
At Sharkapalooza, art meets action.
While we may not be scientists, we believe creative voices have the power to spark awareness, empathy, and change. That’s why a core part of our mission is to support the professionals doing the hands-on work of shark conservation in the field.
Each year, a percentage of Sharkapalooza’s net proceeds—from merchandise sales, vendor fees, sponsorships, and raffle tickets—is donated to a nonprofit organization actively involved in shark protection, marine research, and habitat preservation.
Our Conservation Partner
We are proud to partner with OCEARCH as our official Conservation Benefactor. Through this collaboration, a portion of event proceeds directly supports OCEARCH's global shark research, tracking, and education initiatives that drive science-based conservation. OCEARCH will also join us on-site at the event, bringing interactive displays, shark science, and real-world insights to attendees.
Why It Matters
Sharks are vital to healthy ocean ecosystems—but they are disappearing fast due to overfishing, pollution, and misconceptions. By supporting leading organizations like OCEARCH, we ensure that awareness leads to action and art fuels real-world impact.
This isn’t just a festival. It’s a movement.
Join us on May 16, 2026, at Coachman Park in Clearwater, Florida, for a day of art, community, education, and conservation. Together, we’re making waves for sharks and our oceans.
